Summer Maternity Photos at Boerner Botanical Gardens

There is something so special about photographing a family as they prepare to welcome a new baby. It’s a season filled with excitement, anticipation, and a lot of sweet moments, especially when there’s a soon-to-be big brother involved.

For this maternity session at Boerner Botanical Gardens, we spent the evening exploring the gardens and documenting this exciting chapter before their family of three becomes a family of four.

Their son kept us smiling the entire session. One minute he was happily holding mom and dad’s hands, the next he was off exploring the gardens in his little suspenders and bow tie. Those are the moments I love most because they capture exactly who kids are at this stage.Boerner Botanical Gardens was the perfect backdrop with its beautiful gardens, winding pathways, and peaceful corners. It’s one of my favorite locations for maternity sessions because it offers so much variety while still feeling quiet and timeless.

I can’t wait to meet their newest little one in just a few short weeks.
