A Surprise Proposal at The American Club in Kohler

The American Club in Kohler is such a beautiful place for a proposal, especially with all of the tucked-away courtyards and gardens throughout the property.

Tommy chose one of the smaller courtyards for his proposal to Anna, giving them a quiet, private spot for the moment itself. After she said yes, they celebrated with a champagne toast before we spent some time walking around the property for photos.

We started in the gardens and smaller courtyards before making our way to the main courtyard at The American Club. Between the brick architecture, greenery, and beautiful summer light, we had plenty of variety without ever leaving the property.

We finished outside the front of The American Club as the evening light came through the trees, which gave us some of my favorite portraits from their session.
