There is something special about photographing families in their own home during those first few weeks with a new baby.

Those early days are full of new routines, sleepy mornings, and lots of snuggles. That’s exactly why I love in home newborn sessions. There’s no rushing out the door or worrying if the baby needs to cooperate. We simply slow down and capture this season as it unfolds.

This session was especially meaningful because I’ve had the joy of photographing this family through so many milestones. From their engagement session and wedding day to now welcoming baby Cameron, it’s such an honor to continue documenting their story.

One of my favorite moments was watching their dog make sure he was included in the photos. Those little unscripted moments often become the memories families cherish most.

One of the best parts about photographing newborn sessions at home is how relaxed they feel. Your baby stays comfortable in a familiar space, and we have plenty of time for feeding, cuddling, and simply enjoying these first few weeks together.
